Looking after yourself and each other

Ramadan 2024

Ramadan commenced on Monday 11 March and is expected to end on the evening of Tuesday 9 depending on the moon sighting.

As one of the five pillars of Islam, Muslims fast for 30 days. This involves not only abstinence from eating or drinking during the daylight hours, but also a high control level of one’s thoughts, attitudes and behaviours.

It is important that you understand how this could affect people you are working with and how you can support your colleagues in the workplace.

Please download our SHEA bulletin below and discuss with your team members.

Wishing all our Muslim colleagues a Ramadan Kareem!
