What good feels like

Our green fingered colleagues go above and beyond to look after communities that we work in

We know that our construction works can be disruptive to the local communities in which we work and we make every effort to minimise this. Our colleagues always try to go that extra mile to thank  communities for their  understanding and patience.  Our Site Manager, Rob Foot, did exactly this whilst leading the Farncombe to Petersfield project, where we are carrying out electrification and plant works to prepare the line for modern signalling systems gave up his time to complete some gardening works.

Joined by his wife, Rob voluntarily gave up his weekend to cut down hedges in the garden alongside the Milford Station car park and the overhanging bushes, as well as clearing fallen leaves off the decking and pathways. Our lineside neighbours were delighted with the end result, giving us some fantastic feedback.

Thank you Rob and your wife for kindly giving up your time, your selfless gesture to look after our lineside neighbours has made a huge positive impact to the community.
We were blown away by you and your wife's kindness last Saturday - it really was amazing!!! The whole garden looks unbelievably neat and tidy, you did such a perfect job. It made a massive difference to us and we are so grateful. We trust that Octavius realise how lucky they are to have an angel in their midst!
