Octavius partner with Demelza charity to support ‘Trail with Tale’ in Tunbridge Wells

We’ve hopped on a new venture as we have partnered with Demelza Charity and Wild in Art to support the logistics of their ‘Trail with A Tale’ initiative, which will be launched in July 2025.

The initiative will see bespoke designed and decorated hare and tortoise sculptures placed around Tunbridge Wells in Kent. We will be constructing and installing bases for thirty-two sculptures, placing the sculptures and removing them at the end of the trail. The unique creations will be subsequently auctioned, with all proceeds going to support the charity’s vital work. Jamie Harrison, Octavius Highways Director and Nick Howard Octavius M25 Framework Lead recently attended the launch event.

Committed to creating a sustainable legacy within the Kent community, we will be responsibly sourcing materials for the bases including recycling disused materials from our projects.

We’re excited to be part of this important project and look forward to launching the sculptures next year!
